Nothing is more Mil-Spec than the A2 Birdcage. With decent flash mitigation this muzzle device is the best general purpose muzzle device for the AR-15. The crush washer helps keep the birdcage under constant tension. This aids in keeping the muzzle device from backing off. Add this product to your order with an upper receiver group and it will be properly installed, so it never backs off accidently.

The A2 Birdcage will come installed on your upper with high temp thread locker. The birdcage will be firmly installed. Tightening the muzzle device will not exceed 30-foot pounds of pressure to prevent a loss in accuracy. If you need to remove it, apply heat and pressure to remove the muzzle device. Being able to change out parts is the name of the game for the AR-15 platform.
